Policy. The Cookie Policy aims to provide the user with all the information related to Article 13 of the so-called
Privacy Code, as well as to specifically and analytically describe the characteristics and purposes of the cookies installed on the website, with the possibility for the user to select/deselect individual cookies. Data processing through the use of cookies is carried out with automated tools.
What cookies are.
Cookies are small strings of code that the sites visited by the user send to their terminal (usually to the browser: Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.), where they are stored to be retransmitted on each occurrence or subsequent access to the same sites by the same user.
Why they are useful.
Through the use of cookies, the visited website recognizes the user’s device, which improves the browsing experience. Among the various purposes of cookies is to allow the user to navigate efficiently between the pages of the website, remember their favorite sites, store the language, etc.; cookies also help ensure that online advertising content is more targeted, in relation to the user’s specific interests.
The classification of cookies.
Cookies are classified into different types: in relation to DURATION, a cookie can be “session” (automatically deleted when the browser is closed) or “persistent” (active until its expiration date or deletion by the user); in relation to
ORIGIN, a cookie can be “first-party” (sent to the browser directly from the site being visited) or “third-party” (sent to the browser by other sites and not by the site being visited); in relation to PURPOSE, a cookie can be “technical” or “profiling”. A “technical” cookie is one of navigation, essential, performance, process, or security; a “technical” cookie also includes functionality, preferences, localization, session status; finally, a “technical” cookie is a first-party or third-party statistical-analytical cookie with IP masking, without data crossing. No prior consent from the user is required for the installation of “technical” cookies. However, a “profiling” cookie is a third-party statistical-analytical cookie without IP masking, without data crossing; furthermore, a “profiling” cookie is an advertising, tracking, or conversion cookie. Prior consent from the user is required for the installation of “non-technical” cookies.

Cookies used on this website.
Technical cookies:
this website uses “technical” cookies, without which some operations would be very complex or impossible to perform. Technical cookies do not require the user’s prior consent for their installation, and they may be first-party or third-party, session or persistent.
This website uses so-called strictly necessary technical cookies that allow effective navigation on the website and the use of its essential features, such as enabling computer authentication, storing previous actions. Blocking the use of these cookies may compromise the user’s browsing experience.
This website also uses so-called functionality technical cookies that improve the browsing experience by storing the user’s expressed preferences, such as language, name, location. Blocking these cookies will not compromise the browsing experience, however, the user will not be able to take advantage of the useful services offered.
This website may also have installed technical cookies for storing consent.
It is recommended not to block these cookies that allow the website owner to store the user’s consent.
An example of a technical cookie installed on this website:
ASP_NET_SessionId: this is a technical cookie that uses ASP_NET web development technology and allows the identification of the individual user by assigning a unique session “id” (identifier) code. Its expiration coincides with the end of the work session (browser closure).
Third-party cookies:
this website also uses third-party cookies of a technical and profiling nature, some session-based and others persistent.
Third-party analytical technical cookies installed on this website allow the collection of information on how users interact with the site, analyzing the number of pages visited, the time spent on the website, the most visited pages, and any other events that occurred during navigation, such as any errors from the visited page. These cookies allow the website owner to obtain statistical data related to navigation and, based on them, can improve the services offered to the user. The “analytical” technical cookies used on this website do not involve the processing of personal data (such as the user’s name and surname, or IP address) since the data is collected in aggregate form for mere statistical purposes and the site owner has adopted suitable tools to reduce the identifying power of the analytical cookies used, by masking significant portions of the IP address.
Third-party profiling cookies, on the other hand, are activated only after the user has given consent to their use. Consent is given by clicking “OK” (or “continue,” etc.) on the banner on the homepage or another page of the same site, or by clicking on another element or continuing navigation by accessing another area of the site. Profiling cookies are used to improve the services offered as well as to select and send advertising based on the preferences and tastes expressed by the user during navigation. In the case of using profiling cookies for targeted advertising, this does not imply the display of more advertisements nor will it hinder the browsing experience; in fact, deleting these cookies will result in the display of generic advertising not in line with the interests and tastes expressed by the user
during navigation.
